Symmetrics Health is a multidisciplinary clinic providing Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Massage
Therapy, and Osteopathy services to individuals of all ages. We are located at The Mount in Charlottetown, PEI.
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Physiotherapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing evidence-based physiotherapy services to patients of all ages, helping them to recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve their overall physical well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical abilities and needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals and conditions.
- Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other interventions to facilitate recovery and improve function.
- Monitor and document patients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, massage therapists, chiropractors and osteopaths.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Currently registered with the Prince Edward Island College of Physiotherapists
- Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
